ginger tea for a cold

I have a stuffy head and nose. In China, the Dominican Republic, and probably lots of other places, ginger and honey are considered good for a cold. I hope it works!

2″ fresh ginger, sliced thinly

2 C water

2 T lime (or lemon) juice

3 T honey

Boil ginger in the water for 5 minutes. Strain into a large mug and stir in lime juice and honey. The ginger can be used many times again.

  1. hey! That’s also a pregnancy tea to avoid caffeine and other herbs that are supposed to be avoided as well as to help with nausea!
